Because My Employee Life is an online platform, we are relying on a working internet connection and a browser that is behaving properly. Overall, these things are usually pretty stable, however from time to time, things just seem to happen.

If the platform isn’t working properly, or doesn’t seem to be displaying information in real-time, one of the first things you can do is to hold Ctrl +F5 at the same time – what some people refer to as a hard refresh.

Why?

The most common problem we see (and there aren’t many) is that we may have updated the software in the background, and when this happens we automatically refresh your browser. However sometimes, the existing version is stored in the browser’s memory/cache, which then creates a bit of a problem.
